Quietly pull stale air, cooking smells, and moisture out of your campervan — without making a dent in your battery.

Benefits:
• Ultra-low power draw (1.8W / 0.15A) — run it continuously all day from even a modest solar setup without worrying about drain.
• Ideal above a hob or in a shower/toilet bay — exactly where you need to keep condensation and odours under control.
• Flush side-mount design — sits neatly inside cabinetry walls or van panels, takes up zero interior headroom.
• Protective mesh grille included — keeps insects and debris from entering when the fan is off.
• Low noise operation — you'll barely notice it's running in the background.
• White finish — blends cleanly with most van interior liners and ply walls.

Features:
Runs on 12V DC direct from your leisure battery or solar system. At just 1.8W / 0.15A it's one of the most energy-efficient ventilation options available. The 205 × 185 × 70mm body mounts into a panel cutout — cut your opening slightly smaller than the outer flange so the lip overlaps and seals cleanly. Wire through a fused switch on your 12-way fuse block so you can control it independently. This is a one-way extractor — if you need reversible intake/exhaust, consider the Maxxair MaxxFan Deluxe instead.

Note: Panel cutout opening required is approximately 175 × 155mm. Always wire through a fuse.

People are asking

What size hole do I need to cut for this fan?

The panel cutout required is approximately 175 × 155mm. The outer flange of the fan body is 205 × 185mm, so the flange lip will overlap the opening on all sides and seal cleanly. We recommend marking out and cutting your opening slightly undersized, then test-fitting before you finalise. Allow a few mm clearance around the fan body to account for any panel irregularities.

Where should I install this fan in my campervan?

The most effective locations are above the hob (to extract cooking steam and smells) or in the wet area wall adjacent to a shower or cassette toilet. For best performance, make sure there's a passive air inlet somewhere in the van — a louvre vent or a small gap — so the fan has air to draw against. If the van is sealed tight with no inlet, the extractor will labour and airflow will be poor.

Does this fan work as an intake as well as an extractor?

No — this is a one-directional extractor fan only. It moves air out of the van and cannot be reversed. If you need a fan that can switch between intake and exhaust, or one with a rain cover for roof installation, the Maxxair MaxxFan Deluxe is worth considering instead. The side-mount extractor is best suited to areas where you need continuous background extraction rather than active ventilation control.
