The battery sensor cable connects a temperature or voltage sensor to the Projecta Intelli-RV Gen II system, allowing it to monitor battery state more accurately. Accurate battery monitoring is especially important for lithium batteries that require precise charge management.

The battery sensor is optional but recommended, particularly for lithium battery installations. It improves the accuracy of state-of-charge readings and protects the battery from charging outside its safe temperature range.

The Projecta loom (wiring harness) for additional sensors extends the Intelli-RV system to support extra monitoring points — such as additional battery banks or temperature sensors — beyond the standard single sensor input.
