Cable Lug 95mm2 12mm Stud

Cable lugs are crimped onto the end of battery cables to create a secure, low-resistance connection to battery terminals, bus bars, and inverter studs. They provide a more reliable connection than bare wire and are essential for high-current 12V wiring in campervans.

Strip the cable to the correct length, insert it fully into the lug barrel, and use a proper hydraulic or mechanical crimp tool sized for the lug. Do not use pliers — an undercrimped lug creates resistance and heat. After crimping, cover with adhesive heat shrink tubing for a weatherproof connection.

Match the lug cable size (mm²) to your cable cross-section — 10mm² lug for 10mm² cable, 16mm² lug for 16mm² cable. Match the stud size (6mm or 8mm or 10mm) to the bolt diameter on your battery terminal or bus bar. Using the wrong size creates a loose or over-stressed connection.
