No electricity, no noise, no fuss. The CAMEC chrome hand pump tap delivers clean water on demand — dual-action means it draws on both the up and down stroke, so you get twice the flow with half the effort. The same pump used in our own builds.

Benefits:

• Zero electrics — works entirely off hand pressure, ideal for off-grid self-contained builds

• Dual-action pump draws water on both up and down strokes for efficient flow

• Can replace most other brands of hand pump — easy drop-in upgrade

• Full metal body with chrome finish — durable and looks sharp in any van kitchen

• Recommended for drinking water use

• Self-priming — no need to manually prime before use

Features:

This is the CAMEC MkII chrome hand pump (part no. 043156) — the standard choice for NZ campervan self-containment builds. The hose tail connection sits 185mm below the bench top surface, the pump handle sits 65–200mm above bench, and the bench top hole required is ideally 32mm (up to 45mm max), with a maximum bench thickness of 20mm. It connects to standard ½ inch tubing, making it compatible with most van plumbing setups. The full brass body with chrome plating is built to last — clean with a soft damp cloth if needed. Pair it with our Self Containment Plumbing Kit for everything you need in one go.

Suits campervan conversions, motorhomes, caravans and marine applications.
