The NRX 80C replaces the popular CoolMatic CRX80 and represents a significant step up in efficiency and usability. The illuminated touch control panel is flush-mounted inside the cabinet — clean and unobtrusive. Inside you’ll find two crispers, adjustable shelves, a bottle holder and door shelf, plus the removable freezer compartment that clips out in seconds. The frameless dark silver door and full-width handle give it a premium, integrated look that suits modern van builds. Dual-function locks also act as vents — a clever detail that prevents pressure build-up. Compatible with 12V and 24V DC natively, and 240V AC via the optional Dometic adapter. What’s the difference between the NRX 80C and the NRX 80S?

The C has a dark silver/black front panel. The S has a stainless steel front. Performance is identical — it’s purely a finish choice to match your interior.

Can it run on solar?

Yes — at 0.22kWh per 24 hours in Eco mode, it’s well within reach of a modest solar setup. A 100W panel with a 100Ah battery will comfortably cover it.

Can I use the full 75L as fridge space?

Yes — just remove the freezer compartment and you have the full cabinet for refrigeration.

Does it work on 240V mains?

It runs natively on 12/24V DC. For 240V AC, you need the optional Dometic AC adapter.

What’s the Winter Mode?

A feature that prevents the door seals from freezing solid in very cold ambient temperatures — useful for South Island winters or high-altitude camping.
