The single-piece construction means there are zero silicone joins to crack or peel over years of use, and no grout lines to mould. At 885mm wide x 685mm deep, it is sized for Fiat Ducato and large panel van builds with sufficient floor and height clearance. The pod dimensions are 885mm wide x 685mm deep x 1850mm high — sized for Fiat Ducato, Mercedes Sprinter (high roof), and similar large panel van builds. It is not suitable for smaller vans like a Toyota HiAce without significant modification. Contact us before ordering to confirm it suits your van's available floor and height dimensions.

Why choose a fibreglass pod over a DIY shower kit?

A fibreglass pod is a one-piece moulded unit — fully sealed, lightweight, and far less likely to leak than a tiled or panel-built shower. There are no silicone joins to fail, no grout to mould, and no complex waterproofing required. It is the method used in our own Vanlifer commercial builds because it is more durable and faster to install. The trade-off is cost and the need to plan your van layout around the pod dimensions before building begins.

Does the pod come with a door, tray, and drain?

The fibreglass pod is the shower enclosure only — walls and integrated floor with moulded drain outlet. A shower door, drain fitting, hose and handset, and water heater are all sold separately. Contact us and we can advise on compatible components or bundle a full shower package for your build.
