A simple but essential component for any NZ self-containment build. To meet green warrant requirements, your toilet must be fixed — not portable. This bracket secures a 10L portable cassette toilet to your van floor so it cannot shift during travel, satisfying the fixed toilet requirement for EWOF inspection.

Features:
The bracket bolts to a plywood or solid floor substrate and cradles the base of the toilet, preventing movement in all directions. Screw into at least 12mm ply for a solid mount — avoid screwing into thin sheet metal without backing. Compatible with standard 10L portable toilet base profiles. Not designed for larger 22L cassette toilets. Always check your toilet model is compatible before ordering.

Is a toilet bracket required for self-containment certification?

Yes. Under NZ self-containment requirements, the toilet must be fixed — it cannot be portable or removable during travel. A properly installed bracket that secures the toilet to the floor or wall is required for a green warrant inspection. EWOF inspectors will check that the toilet cannot shift or tip during travel.

Which portable toilets does this bracket fit?
