A clean, low-profile gravity fill point built into your van’s exterior — food-grade, lockable, and simple to plumb.

Benefits:
• Food-grade ABS housing won’t contaminate your freshwater supply.
• Locking lid keeps the port tamper-proof and sealed between fills — two keys included.
• Standard 96mm round cutout suits most panel van and caravan bodywork.
• 1½-inch interior connection fits standard RV freshwater supply hoses directly.
• Just 15mm deep — sits almost flush with the panel without fouling internal cabinetry.
• UV-stabilised, corrosion-resistant plastic holds up in coastal and off-grid conditions.

Features:
The KDAS-Z01 mounts flush into the exterior body of your campervan or caravan to create a gravity fill point for your fresh water tank. Cut a 96mm round aperture, run your supply hose to the 1½-inch interior barb, and secure with four ST4.2×25 countersunk self-tapping screws. Screw holes are spaced 92mm horizontally, 92mm vertically, and 130mm diagonally — matching standard RV panel cutout patterns. The food-grade housing ensures your freshwater supply stays uncontaminated, and the keyed lid locks down securely when the van is parked or moving.

Seal the mounting flange with butyl tape or sikaflex before fixing to prevent water ingress around the cutout edge.

Pair with the Vanlifer Self Containment Plumbing Kit for a complete fresh and grey water system.

People are asking

What size hole do I need to cut for the KDAS-Z01?

Cut a round hole 96mm in diameter. The face plate is 115×136mm and sits neatly over the cutout. Fix with four ST4.2×25 countersunk self-tapping screws at 92mm horizontal, 92mm vertical, and 130mm diagonal spacing from the screw centre points.

What hose connects to the back of the gravity inlet?

The KDAS-Z01 has a 1½-inch interior barb connection that accepts standard RV freshwater supply hose. Run the hose directly from the inlet to your fresh water tank. No check valve is required for a gravity-fill setup, but fitting one near the tank inlet will prevent backflow if your tank is pressurised at any point.

Does the gravity inlet need to be sealed to the van panel?

Yes — always run a bead of butyl tape or marine-grade sealant (such as Sikaflex 221) around the mounting flange before screwing it to the panel. This prevents water tracking into the body cavity around the cutout edge, particularly important on the sides of a vehicle where rain and road spray can reach the inlet.
