A simple, well-thought-out rear-bed conversion kit for Toyota Hiace and Nissan van builds. The HAHEI Kit gives you two full-length side benches, a removable centre table, and a generous double bed setup — all built to green warrant self-containment standards. Lightweight, practical, and easy to assemble.

• Two full-length benches (1850mm x 520mm each) double as comfortable single beds.
• Converts to a double bed (1850mm x 1500mm) with the table removed.
• Removable centre table for meals, work, or games when not sleeping.
• Under-bench storage compartments on both sides for gear and essentials.
• Built to NZ green warrant self-containment standards.
• Compatible with both low and high roof vans, single or dual sliding doors.
Features:
The HAHEI is our rear-bed layout for mid-size vans — designed for couples or solo travellers who want a practical, versatile living space without overcomplicating the build. The open layout keeps things light and maximises usable floor space during the day. Compatible with a Black Moa fixed toilet for self-containment. No kitchen is included — use the remaining space as-is, build your own, or add a Vanlifer kitchen unit later. Floor panels are not included. Made by Vanlifer in New Zealand. Available for collection from Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch only — no shipping.

We're happy to offer collection points in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch for our kits. Unfortunately, due to shipping carrier limitations, we are unable to deliver the kits directly to home addresses.

We can book your install directly from our Auckland North Shore workshop, or refer you to a trusted third-party service that offers professional assembly for a fee.

Conversion kit delivery
Due to shipping carrier limitations our kits can’t be delivered to home addresses and must be picked up at one of our collection points.
The shipping address entered at checkout is only used for orders that don’t contain conversion kits.
