A simple, lightweight cabinet door catch used throughout Vanlifer's own workshop builds. The latch engages automatically when the door closes and releases with a pull — keeping cabinet doors and overhead lockers securely shut on the road without the need for a separate handle.

Benefits:
• Auto-latches when door closes — no extra action needed to secure the door.
• Pull to release — one-hand operation, easy to use while driving.
• Lightweight plastic construction — adds minimal weight to cabinetry.
• Low profile — sits flush and unobtrusive on cabinet faces.
• Suits panel thickness 15-27mm — compatible with standard van cabinetry ply.
• Simple screw-mount installation on door and frame.

Features:
The latch body mounts to the door face and engages a strike plate on the cabinet frame when the door closes. Pull the latch tab to release and open. Suitable for overhead locker doors, small cabinet doors, and any lightweight door that needs a secure hold without a visible handle. Includes mounting screws and strike plate. Suits door and panel thicknesses from 15-27mm.

People are asking

Does this lock work on all campervan sliding windows?

The push lock is designed for standard sliding van windows with a flat frame edge. It suits most aftermarket sliding windows used in campervan conversions. Check your window frame thickness and profile before ordering — the lock requires a flat surface to mount against. Not suitable for OEM factory windows with curved or integrated frames.

How does the push lock work?

Push the button to release and slide the window open. When you close the window, the lock engages automatically — no twisting or lifting required. The one-touch release makes it easy to operate with one hand, which is useful when you are reaching across from inside the van.

Does it provide a weatherproof seal?

The lock holds the window closed firmly which helps maintain the window's own weatherstrip seal. It is not a dedicated weatherseal itself — the seal performance depends on your window's rubber gasket. For best results, ensure your sliding window has a good quality rubber seal around the frame before installing the lock.
