Where is the stainless steel mesh filter installed?

The stainless steel mesh filter is installed on the inlet side of your water pump, between the tank and the pump. It catches grit, debris, and sediment before it can enter the pump, protecting the diaphragm and valves from damage and extending pump life.

How often should I clean the mesh filter?

Check the filter every 3-6 months or if you notice reduced water flow. Remove it from the line, rinse under running water, and reinstall. The stainless steel mesh is reusable and will last the life of your build with basic maintenance.
