People are asking

What is a 350A ANM fuse used for?

The 350A ANM fuse is used for main battery protection on large 12V systems — typically between a large lithium battery bank and a high-current inverter/charger such as a 3000W unit. It is the primary overcurrent protection for the entire electrical system.

What is the difference between ANM and ANS fuses?

ANM (also called MEGA fuse) and ANS (also called MIDI fuse) are different physical formats. ANM fuses are larger, rated for higher currents (200A-500A), and suit main battery connections. ANS/MIDI fuses are smaller, rated for mid-range currents (50A-150A), and suit individual circuits like DC chargers and inverters.

Do I need an ANM fuse holder for the 350A fuse?

Yes. The 350A ANM fuse requires an ANM fuse holder (available separately at Vanlifer). The fuse itself is installed as close to the battery positive terminal as possible to protect the entire cable run from the battery to your electrical system.
