The SmartSolar MPPT 100/20 is the step up from the BlueSolar — identical performance with Bluetooth built in. Monitor real-time solar input, battery voltage, current, and state of charge directly from the free VictronConnect app on your phone. The advanced MPPT algorithm adjusts in microseconds to always extract maximum power from your panels, and handles partial shading better than conventional MPPTs by detecting the true peak rather than a local maximum. Auto-detects 12V, 24V or 48V battery voltage on first connection. Load output terminal with BatteryLife protects against over-discharge. What’s the difference between SmartSolar and BlueSolar?

SmartSolar has Bluetooth built in — no dongle needed. BlueSolar requires the optional VE.Direct Bluetooth dongle for app monitoring. Charging performance and algorithms are identical.

What solar panel size suits the 100/20?

Up to 290W at 12V, 580W at 24V, or 1160W at 48V. Maximum PV open-circuit voltage is 100V. A 200–290W panel is typical for a 12V campervan roof installation.

Does it work with lithium batteries?

Yes — fully compatible with lithium (LiFePO4), AGM, gel and flooded lead-acid. Set the correct charge algorithm via VictronConnect.

Can it charge a dead-flat battery?

Yes — the SmartSolar can operate with battery voltage as low as 0V, provided the cells are not permanently damaged. It will slowly raise the battery back to a normal voltage before switching to bulk charge.

What’s the peak efficiency?

98% — among the highest in its class. Full rated 20A output is maintained up to 40°C ambient temperature.
