Features:
The KDAS-L01 installs into the exterior body of your campervan or caravan to create a built-in cold-water shower point. Plumb your pressurised cold supply to the interior connection, cut a 96mm round aperture, and secure with four ST4.2×25 countersunk self-tapping screws (92mm horizontal, 92mm vertical, 130mm diagonal spacing). The 1.5m hose and quick-connect shower head tuck inside the housing behind the lid when not in use. A food-grade tap head is supplied as an alternative, giving you the option to use this as a cold tap instead of a shower. For hot and cold supply, see the KDAS-L02 hot & cold version.

Seal the mounting flange with butyl tape or sikaflex. Run your supply from the pressurised cold water line after your pump for best flow. Do not connect to a hot water source.

Can the KDAS-L01 be used as a tap instead of a shower?

Yes. The kit includes both a quick-connect shower head and a food-grade tap head, and they are interchangeable on the same port. If you want a cold tap on the exterior of your van rather than a rinse-off shower point, simply fit the tap head instead. Both options use the same internal connection.

What water pressure does the exterior shower need?

The KDAS-L01 works best with a pressurised supply — connect it after your water pump, not directly from a gravity-fed tank. Standard RV pump pressures of 30–55 PSI give a comfortable flow and a good spray pattern from the shower head. At lower pressures the shower will still work but flow will be reduced.

How do I plumb the KDAS-L01 into my van's water system?

Tee off your main cold water line and run a branch to the exterior shower. Fit a small isolation valve on the branch so you can shut the exterior point off independently. Connect to the interior barb fitting, cut a 96mm round aperture in the panel, seal the flange with butyl tape or Sikaflex, and secure with four ST4.2×25 screws.
