Features:
The KDAS-L02 is the hot-and-cold version of the KDAS-L01, adding a temperature mixer lever that blends your hot and cold supply before it reaches the shower head. Note: the mounting cutout is a rectangle (90×105mm) — not the round 96mm aperture used by the cold-only and gravity inlet models — so plan your cut accordingly. Fix with four ST4.2×25 countersunk screws at 92mm horizontal, 92mm vertical, 130mm diagonal. The 115×136mm face panel fills the opening cleanly at just 15mm depth.

Seal the mounting flange with butyl tape or sikaflex. This unit requires both a pressurised hot and cold water supply — run your hot line from after your water heater, not through an inline heater. All hot water plumbing should be carried out by a qualified plumber.

What is the difference between the KDAS-L01 and the KDAS-L02?

The KDAS-L01 is cold water only — one supply line, ideal for a simple rinse-off point or exterior tap. The KDAS-L02 adds a temperature mixer lever that blends hot and cold supply so you can dial in the right temperature at the shower head. They also have different cutout shapes: the L01 needs a round 96mm hole, the L02 needs a rectangular 90×105mm opening. The hose and shower head are identical between both models.

Do I need a specific hot water system to run the KDAS-L02?

The KDAS-L02 works with any pressurised hot water system — gas, electric, or dual-mode. It has no built-in heater; it simply mixes the hot and cold supplies you connect to it. Run your hot supply from after your water heater outlet and your cold supply from your pump circuit. If you don’t yet have a hot water system in your build, the Truma 14L Gas & 240V Water Heater is a popular compatible option.

Is the panel cutout the same size as the cold-only KDAS-L01?

No — the KDAS-L02 requires a rectangular cutout of 90×105mm, not the round 96mm hole used by the KDAS-L01.
