People are asking

What can I run off this inverter?

Add up the wattage of the appliances you want to run at the same time and keep the total under the inverter's continuous rating, allowing headroom for startup surges from fridges and power tools. As a pure sine wave inverter it safely powers sensitive electronics such as laptops, TVs and CPAP machines.

What is the difference between pure sine wave and modified sine wave?

Pure sine wave inverters produce the same clean AC power you get from the grid, so every appliance runs properly and efficiently. Modified sine wave units are cheaper but can cause buzzing, overheating or damage in sensitive electronics and appliances with motors.

What cable and fuse do I need for my inverter?

Inverters draw very high current at 12V - a 2000W unit can pull over 180A. Keep the battery cable run as short as possible, size the cable to the maximum current, and fit an appropriately rated fuse such as an ANM fuse close to the battery. We stock battery cable, lugs and fuses to suit.
