Reclaim your Ducato's cab as living space. This Sportscraft right-hand (driver's side) seat swivel base rotates a full 180°, bringing your seat into the lounge or dining area of your campervan build — a favourite trick used by major European and UK motorhome manufacturers.

Unlike a basic flat plate, this base uses an offset pivot design: once you've rotated the seat 180°, it sits around 80mm closer to the centre of the van, clearing the B-pillar, door card and dashboard for genuinely usable elbow room. German engineering underneath means a solid, caster-mounted turn with no rattle once it's locked back in the travel position.

Built for Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Relay/Jumper vans from 2007 onward with a single OEM driver's seat (not compatible with double bench seating). TUV-approved and crash-tested to EU standards, supplied with mounting fixings.

Does this fit my Ducato, Boxer, or Relay?

This RH swivel base fits Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer, and Citroën Relay/Jumper vans built from 2007 onward with a single OEM driver's seat. It isn't compatible with vans fitted with a double passenger bench.

What does the offset pivot design actually do?

The offset design shifts the seat around 80mm toward the centre of the van once rotated 180°, clearing the B-pillar, door, and dash so you get more usable elbow room in your living area.

Does it come with a handbrake kit?

Driver's side swivel bases on the Ducato platform typically need a handbrake lowering kit so the lever clears the mechanism once rotated. Get in touch if you need to confirm this is included with your order.

Is professional fitting required?

The base bolts to your existing seat rails and van floor points using the supplied fixings. Confident DIY converters can usually fit it in under an hour; Vanlifer's Wairau Valley team can also install it as part of a build.

Is it road/compliance certified?

Yes, it's TUV-approved and crash-tested to EU standards. As with any seating modification, confirm compliance with NZ Land Transport requirements with your certifier before use.
