Features:
The Blue Smart IP67 is Victron's most ruggedised portable charger. Where IP65 offers splash resistance, IP67 provides full submersion protection — the electronics are completely sealed in resin, and the cast aluminium casing handles shock and vibration. Ignition protection means it's safe in enclosed spaces with fuel vapour, making it the standard choice for marine engine rooms and bilge installations. 25A output charges large batteries (200–250Ah) efficiently. Built-in Bluetooth connects to the free VictronConnect app for full monitoring and battery preset configuration. The intelligent algorithm supports all common battery chemistries with automatic temperature compensation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between IP65 and IP67 rating?
Both provide full dust protection (IP6X). The difference is water resistance: IP65 protects against water jets from any direction; IP67 adds full temporary submersion protection (up to 1m for 30 minutes). The IP67 also features resin-moulded electronics and a cast aluminium casing vs the IP65's plastic housing, making it more resistant to shock, vibration and chemical exposure. Choose IP67 for boat bilges, engine rooms, or permanent outdoor installation.
What does ignition protected mean and why does it matter?
Ignition protection means the charger is designed to not produce sparks that could ignite flammable vapours — essential in enclosed spaces near fuel tanks or LPG systems. This is a requirement for permanent installation in boat engine rooms, fuel tank compartments, or caravans with gas appliances. Standard chargers are not ignition protected and should not be used in these environments.
Is the Blue Smart IP67 suitable for lithium batteries in a campervan?
Yes — select the LiFePO4 preset in VictronConnect over Bluetooth. The charger handles the correct charge profile for lithium chemistry, including terminating at the end of absorption without a float stage. For a complete lithium campervan power setup, see our lithium battery upgrade installation service.
