Six independently fused high-current outputs on a single 250A tin-plated copper busbar. The Victron Six-Way Fuse Holder takes MEGA fuses and is the right choice for protecting multiple high-draw circuits in a serious campervan power system.

Benefits:

• Six MEGA fuse positions on one 250A busbar — protect up to 6 high-current circuits

• Clear polycarbonate cover — visually inspect all fuses without opening the unit

• Tin-plated copper busbar — excellent conductivity, minimal resistance

• Galvanised steel terminals and nuts — solid, corrosion-resistant connections

• ABS base rated UL 94 V-0 (flame retardant)

• Max 250A / 70V DC — suits 12V, 24V and 48V systems

• Dimensions: 50.9×181.5×88mm (with cover), 0.45kg

Features:

This Victron six-way fuse holder is designed for high-current DC distribution in campervan, motorhome and off-grid installations. Six MEGA fuse slots share a common 250A tin-plated copper busbar, with galvanised steel terminal posts and nuts rated to the recommended torque of 7 N·m. The clear polycarbonate cover keeps connections safe while allowing a full visual check of all fuses without removing the cover. Fuses and mounting hardware are not included — MEGA fuses are sold separately in ratings from 40A to 500A. Download the datasheet below for full specifications and mounting dimensions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are MEGA fuses and what rating do I need?

MEGA fuses are heavy-duty blade-style fuses rated for high DC currents — typically 40A to 500A — used to protect main battery cables and large DC distribution circuits in vehicles and off-grid systems. Choose a fuse rating based on the maximum current draw of each circuit plus a safety margin, but sized to protect the cable, not the load. For example, a circuit running 6mm² cable (rated ~55A) would typically be protected with a 60–80A MEGA fuse. MEGA fuses are sold separately.

Can I use this fuse holder with lithium (LiFePO4) batteries?

Yes — the 250A busbar and MEGA fuse system is chemistry-agnostic and perfectly suited to lithium battery systems, which can discharge at very high rates. Proper fusing is especially important with lithium batteries, which can deliver extremely high short-circuit currents. Use appropriately rated MEGA fuses to protect each circuit. For a complete lithium battery installation, see our lithium battery upgrade service.

How many circuits can I protect from one fuse holder?

This holder has six MEGA fuse positions, so you can protect up to six individual circuits — for example: solar charge controller, DC-DC charger, inverter/charger, fridge, lighting circuit, and a 12V accessory circuit. The 250A total busbar rating means you can draw the full rated current on all six circuits simultaneously, provided the total doesn't exceed 250A. Pair with the Victron Lynx Power In for a clean, modular battery connection system.

People are asking

What fuses does it take?

MEGA fuses — the large automotive blade fuses commonly used in high-current DC systems. MEGA fuses are available in ratings from 40A to 500A and are sold separately.

What’s the maximum current and voltage?

250A maximum continuous current across the 250A tin-plated copper busbar, and 70V DC maximum. Suitable for 12V, 24V and 48V systems.

Why use a six-way fuse block instead of individual fuses?

A fuse block consolidates all high-current circuit protection in one location, making it easier to inspect, replace fuses and trace faults. The clear polycarbonate cover lets you visually check all fuses at a glance without opening the unit.

Are fuses included?

No — MEGA fuses are sold separately. The unit includes mounting hardware (bolts, washers and nuts) but no fuses.

What are the dimensions?

With cover: 50.9mm (H) × 181.5mm (W) × 88mm (D). Weight: 0.45kg.
